Phonetic Alphabet [Infographic]

Check out this phonetic alphabet chart! I thought it was spelled "Juliet" with one "t" but hey it's still pronounced the same. Romeo wouldn't care...

It is too bad that the Internationally recognized phonetic alphabet publications of that alphabet always begin wrongly. The first letter of the western alphabet is "A". But, the phonetic word used to represent it is NOT "Alpha"... It is "Alfa". The reason for this is this: (a) not every language has the "ph" combination in the language, and (b) the sound for the "ph" is not consistently "f".

That is why the International phonetic alphabet is: Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliet, Kilo, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, Xray, Yankee, Zulu.
